Dermot is the best. He gets criticized for embracing his family and his origins, and all the haters kick off. He is as Irish as the best of them.
Dermot is very Irish very Wexford but with a London sensibility. Hes a great member of the London Irish creative community. I remember Terry Wogan being very supportive of him, rightly so, hes got very Irish communication skills and is a fundamentally decent man like my Irish Dads relatives are.
A gent. Well done Dermot

Dermot is so annoyingly amiable!
nice people
Ii always find the phrase 'second generation Irish 'a bit wrong . As i think it should be first generation Irish if your patents are Irish ....your the first generation Irish being born away from Ireland. Because if parents are Irish they are not first anything they are Irish. So two Irish people make a baby in another country means your the first generation not to be born in Ireland and your children would be second generation. That s just my thoughts and i have no qualification just pondering the term....no t a criticism just sharing my thought .
I was waiting for the David sullivan/karren brady interview
Lorraine Kelly .With a surname like that ,has she not got a Scottish- Irish heritage?
