Good morning! Thank you for inviting us into your garden, it’s beautiful weeds and all. Question for you: when you mow the grass do you leave a section of the clover growing for the bees? 🐝 😊 Thank you Ruthann for all you bring to your YouTube family!
I believe that's Lambsquarters rather that lamb's ear. Lamb's ear is fuzzy and produces a purple flower, good for use as a bandage,
Good Saturday morning Ruthann and family! 😊☕
Your garden is looking great this year, as always. We are only doing raised beds this year, so we are learning as we go. Our Amish friends in Iowa have planted extra tomato plants for us and have offered to can us up 18 quarts of tomato juice which we are so grateful for. We have had some really bad weather with tornadoes in Illinois and I know Iowa has had their fair share, too. I hope you have all fared well through those. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Happy Saturday morning!! What a beautiful garden!
Right here is where I'm growing weeds. Lol love that. ❤❤❤❤
absolutely love your garden
Great looking garden and the sun rise is beautiful. I think the plant you are talking about is what my dad called lambs quarters instead of lambs ear. The Lambs ear is more fuzzy.
Ruthann please can you link that dress you are wearing? That look like the perfect summer dress!
Bakers creek is where almost all seeds are bought for our family. Which are heirloom non gmo and produce awesome food.
Amazing....what a garden indeed!
I started a COTTAGE FOOD MINI STORE! "STICKY RIKI'S" wish me luck😂
Beautiful garden Ruthann. You are truly blessed, God is good, all the time
watched those storms this week as they rolled through Iowa and in to Wi. I hope you are all safe and sound.
❤ I only invite my truest friends to see the weeds
To help with creepy crawling critters I use tuna cans or half pint jars pour halfway with a cheep cooking oil and add some soy sauce. Also cut up a banana peel and mix with one cup sugar and one cup vinegar. Mix all together and divide into three or four containers. You will be surprised how well these traps save your young plants. Dig these down in the ground so e to make it easier for them to commit suicide. 😅
Miss Ruthanne my grandpa always said if you would take sawdust and mix it with a little compost more sawdust than compost. Make sure you’re sawdust is at least two years old and mixing your compost and you can put your lettuce and onions in it and you won’t have to spoon your onions because they have room enough to grow where the soil doesn’t pack around them the sawdust keep it loose enough that they grow bigger
Could you do a video on saving seeds? When to harvest the seeds, how to save?
I'm here for the true friendship, weeds and all 😂
Great job working together. The boys are such great helpers.
