A new episode of fears to fathom but this time it's a co-op adventure so my brother is joining in for the adventure where we play as a couple who took really bad decisions and ended up almost getting kidnapped. Also the jumpscare at 24:30 was very loud while playing, me going to the desktop messed up the volume for that moment so it looks like it was very low and not scary but trust me, it was scary as hell lol. The Jumpscare at 24:30 was actually very freaking loud and scary when I was playing the game, But because I was scared and flicked my mouse so hard that I went to the desktop, the volume got a little messed up in the recording, that's why it looks lame in the video but trust me.....it was scary as hell lol. EXPLANATION : The people of the Old Temple (the cultists) are racist and dislike Black people. They perform cult rituals on them, which is why whenever someone talks to Marcus (the Black character), they often scoff, sigh, or treat him differently. This is also why the mechanic earlier said that "girls like you don't usually step out of their circle." There is actually a voice line from the mechanic's boss where he asks Julia, "Why are you dating him? He's not like you," and becomes dismissive when he sees Marcus. Later, Julia explains that there are two churches in the village: The Old Temple – Made up mostly of elderly members who follow racist beliefs, similar to the KKK, and perform cult rituals on Black people. The New Temple – A more modern group that does not follow the old traditions. This is why the old lady initially becomes angry when she assumes the couples belong to the New Temple. Throughout the story, the villagers and motel staff try to separate both couples (for example, using the towel excuse) so they can isolate Marcus and perform their cult rituals on him.
