Yesss!! I have several disabilities and I still go about my day looking completely normal! Just because not everything’s perfect on the inside doesn’t mean I’m gonna look sick on the outside!! The only thing that would give it away in my sensor and insulin pump!

I have a severe heart condition myself. I look healthy to most people. I'm absolutely not. But if you're not missing a leg or in a wheelchair people assume that you are faking.

One thing that pisses me tf off when my mom says when I want to get tested to autism “You can’t have autism you don’t break down in loud noises and you’re not sensory sensitive plus you already have adhd so you’re just mixing up the signs”

This needs to be shared so much more because it fr is the case like people really associate being ill and battling illnesses and such with looking DEATHLY ill. Not everyone looks the same or is on the same level of path as others, people just genuinely need to stop comparing and contrasting folks and just respect everyone PERIOD.

I have endometriosis and suffer with the pain and my neighbour said you don't look ill 🤷♀️ if my insides where on the outside I don't think they would have said the same thing 🙏 thank you for advocating for those of us with invisible illnesses
