Thank you for the trip down memory lane, what a time to be alive. I absolutely loved watching the keynotes and announcements, good times. My first android device was the original Motorola droid on verizon in 2010, my first android Samsung was the J3 on boost mobile in 2016 but i remember when the S3 came out and hearing the samsung notification sounds everywhere in public

5:58 I gotta give it to Jobs, he was right. This phone was actually a phone not a glorified tablet. I mean a bit bigger is fine, but not on the lvl it is today, phones feel just inconvenient

hearing the ringtones and notifications brings me so many memories, I grew up in a household where everyone used a samsung except for my cousin, she used an iPhone.

That ringtone at 14:23 is still to this day the default ringtone on Zebra work phones used in retail, and it is forever etched in my memory from my time as an order puller at American Bunnings:tm: as a sort of wake word for "Ah crap someone needs me for my forklift license again"

I genuinely prefer the pictures by the samsung phone; no sharpening, no over-HDR'ing, just straight pixels. Tough lighting conditions is where the old phones will really start to show their age though.

I miss my iPhone 4 honestly. I drove that thing into the ground. Had it for so long that the software was getting slow and the battery eventually gave up the ghost. Though about just replacing the bat but it was time. That same year when my mother died I got her old iPhone 11. I believe they were up to the 13 by then.

This takes me back. I remember flashing a new ROM every other week. The TWRP boot loader gives me warm fuzzy feelings. Held together with packing tape, with an expanded battery bump, the poor guy met his demise under a 35kg dumbbell after a failed chest press...
