For decades, we’ve been told that Microsoft Windows is unavoidable, that without Big Tech, modern society simply grinds to a halt. But France just proved that’s a lie. In a massive corporate eviction, the French national police force completely ditched Microsoft across 103,000 computers, switching entirely to free, open-source Linux. The result? A staggering 40% drop in costs and a total shutdown of Big Tech's data-harvesting.. This isn't just a budget cut, it’s a blueprint for digital independence that is spreading across Europe and shattering Silicon Valley's monopoly forever. Find out how France pulled off this massive tech revolt, bypassed forced hardware upgrades, and shut down Windows once and for all. Loving these uploads. Watched for 3 days straight during my lunchtime..
I had a heavy medical operation back in 2009. I was tied to bed for 23 hours. I learned Linux just out of boredom. I've been using it since then. I only used Windows when companies wanted me to use but never used it in my personal devices anymore.
Microslop promised that Windows 10 will be their last OS. And I kept their promise, W10 is was the last one before I switched to Linux.
4:05 Wrong. Most of it is *sold to third parties* for advertising and other uses.
I switch to Linux in early this year. I now use Linux Mint, Zorin OS and Steam OS.
The only reason i'm still using Windows is that i need something to run my video games, the moment a proper competitor comes along i'm switching sides. The win11 has been so awful! Nothing works properly here! I haven't been able to update my GPU drivers for almost 2 years because the newest ones don't work on win11!
Been off Windows for years and dont miss it one bit!
Your voice is so good you have to show your face to convince us that you are not an AI.. That is something to spend a second to think about..
More of this needs to happen.
...and all those perfectly good machines, that just didn't have the oh-so-important TPS2 chip? They're gonna get wiped, loaded with linux and go right back into service. Another staggering cost-savings. oh I should've listened to the whole show before posting:) Nice catch.
The corporate excuse is still very much real because the vast majority of third-party programs used by major corporations are simply not compatible with other operating systems
I'm not sure that this is Waterloo for Microslop. But it feels really good to see them get the rug yanked out from underneath them by what once was a major customer.
Crazy thing is that even the crappiest computer the state has, they'll ever use only less than 10% of its true performance, so when the operating system no longer imposes a hardware minimum limit, those machines work basically forever in regular government use.
Doing the lords work infographics
People also need to realize how much corporate greed within the U.S has pissed off the rest the world to the point that they are refusing our services. This is literally the first steps of not just a recession or depression but legit collapse of an enpire.
12:33 the German word you use here is so well-pronounced it was startling amidst the rest of the English. Very impressive voice work, thanks for being real and showing your face early. Lots of ai voiceovers mimic your style.
8:30 The "retraining users" point is a bigger deal than folks realize. Just think about how much the Windows user interface has changed just since Windows 7. Windows 8 got rid of the "Start menu" altogether and turned the whole OS into a touch oriented interface people got lost in, then 8.1 brought it back, kinda, then 10 returned to a more traditional one, then Windows 11 moved it to the middle and reorganized it. Every release re-imagines the desktop layout and breaks muscle memory for folks that just want their computers to work. One of my mom's biggest complaints when updating her computer is having to re-learn everything all over again. That's why when her Windows 10 lost support and her PC was ineligible, I moved her to Debian with KDE and I set it up and keep it up to date for her, and I haven't heard a single complaint from her. She figured out where everything was within the first day or two and has just been using her computer without issue.
Is this what winning looks like America? LOL
I love how your graphics show "Europeans" as mostly brown skinned and not white. That kind of commitment to accuracy can't be understated.
Thankyou for being human. 😂 subbed. ❤
