We are from Germany. In 2016, my husband and I went on an Alaska cruise from Vancouver to Seward. The route took us through the Inside Passage to Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. We saw whales, sea eagles, sunfish, dolphins, and sea otters. It was a fantastic experience.

I have done three Alaskan cruises and loved every single one of them. Glacier Bay was the best "port" ever.
I've seen a lot of cruises and this cruise is the only one I've ever been impressed with. Bravo MSC.

If you are more into wildlife than entertainment, I recommend a small ship cruise to Alaska. When we saw whales or seals in the distance, our ship actually turned around to get closer to them. No formal nights, the captain left us sleep on deck the night the Northern Lights appeared, and they can get so much closer to shore and the glaciers. It was amazing!
