Funny how they didn't change any ground game yet they have you as the wrestler in this...

no way the flow of career is actually the same... hit the bag for 15 min before each fight🥲 Absolutely disgusted by these decisions to neglect career entirely.

No follow up shots after a KO even though UFC 3 had them… No more than one elbow in mount again…

This is definitely a wait for a 50% off sale... its basically the same game with an ugly HUD and weird lighting.

I’m so disappointed that the career seems pretty much the same with just a few slight changes I was really opening for an overhaul

A smoker is essentially a training fight, more competitive and intense than sparring or a PKB match, but not officially on a professional or amateur record. In surprised you’ve trained martial arts and don’t know this.

"Smokers" is an old boxing term for unsanctioned fights, back when prize-fighting was illegal. They used to be held behind closed doors, in private clubs, ballrooms, and gyms. The air in the rooms was usually hazy and thick with smoke from people smoking cigars. They're typically used to build up young fighters, gain experience in the ring, and dealing with the adrenaline of it all. Lots of famous stories about Mike Tyson and the smokers he used to fight at, having to lie about his age and fighting 18 year olds when he was like 14. That's the historical aspect of it, but in the game they're probably just referring to gym vs. gym fights. Which used to be a lot more common, not so much anymore as gyms have gotten smarter about training & sparring. Less need of organizing smokers for their young fighters, because of the wider ranging amateur system too, lots more opportunity to get fights compared to back then.
HUD is horrendous
