The names Joe, Other Joe
The scar is book accurate, even if it makes no sense
7:58 the scar was canon to the original novels. They've just never stuck to it in the films. From Russia With Love: "It was a dark, clean-cut face, with a three-inch scar showing whitely down the sunburned skin of the right cheek."
The scar was part of the character in the novels.
04:46 Actually they did not change the origin of James Bond's famous drink order, it connects to two different women, depending on whether you look at the books or real life. In the official 2018 prequel book, Forever and a Day, a young Bond falls for a woman named Sixtine. She orders her martinis shaken just to spite her fussy ex-husband, and Bond adopts the habit to honor her memory after she dies. In real life, Bond's creator, Ian Fleming, got the idea from Gloria Elkins. She ran a hotel in Jamaica where Fleming used to drink. Because of the intense tropical heat, Gloria shook the martinis with ice to make them as cold as possible, and Fleming loved it so much he gave the habit to his famous spy. The game is just paying homage to both.
Thank yall so much for the scar from the novels comment! I never knew! However, its more funny this way to make this joke, we couldnt help it! =)
Got people killed in the early missions? Like the hotel? Pretty sure if he didn’t follow those guys and disarm the first bomb everyone would have died.
In Casino Royale - Bond was instructed to provide a fake name for him and Vesper when they check into the Casino Royale. He doesn’t. Bond is about his ego, he tells the clerk that his name is Bond knowing full well that information will make it back to Le Chiffre. The scar isn’t a problem. Bond doesn’t care if the bad guy knows he’s coming.
The names Joe, Angry Joe
Angry Joe will return in: No Time to Review.... coming this September
Bro in the training mission he is shooting paintballs
I think the nit picking about the scar is book accurate. And people literally play the Hitman game with a bald secret Hitman killing people with a barcode on his head, so I don’t mind 007 not getting recognized by a scar lol
4:25 "lore be damned" Joe, the Bond movies don't really have "lore" lmao. Each film is basically completely standalone with very little carrying over between adventures, with the exception of some of the Daniel Craig ones.
My personal top 3 James Bond Actors 3. Daniel Craig 2. Sean Connery 1. Other Joe
Bond we don’t leave a trail of bodies. The golden eye game would like to have a chat.
The scar is from the original novels
1:51 you never played Nightfire or Everything or Nothing back in the PS2 days?!!!
Well Bond didnt just became Bond immediately this is basically the origin. He has the charm but not quite there yet. It takes time to hone such skill.
The scar is not THAT obvious. He is just so suave and charming that someone could look past something like that.
For a moment, I thought Other Joe was Corey Feldman
