Build a SaaS with Claude: https://designcourse.com/app/course/claude-code-ai-saas (Take now) -- Claude Fable 5 just released yesterday, and I decided to give it 5 different UI tests. I'm not going to spoil it, but this is a must watch video and it's definitely a big step up in capabilities. Wow I'm impressed. not horrible, and I always was curious about how craig's list could be updated lol.
It seems like if you dont say what colour scheme or style you want, then it automatically gives you the Claude style with orange accent, cream background and serif fonts. Also gotten a similar look lol😂
This is insane!
cool they fed it some new templates
Wonderful, now if you don't mind, how much did all of that cost you?
Optimistic Software Developers now can realize exactly what they want in the browser, and they can do it in a natural language instead of having to dedicate years to learning design to be able to achieve this stuff.
I tried the portfolio example using a similar prompt as you did, having it use my existing portfolio for content. The design was almost exactly the same as yours, colors, elements and all. Feels like it was just trained on a set of designs that it uses as loose templates... Kind of misleading to think that Claude is being "creative" when it's just pulling direct references
As someone without a creative bone in my body, but I can explain what I want; Fable gives me super powers.
I built an entire web app with Claude. if i had the money i would still hire a designer. While I'm an engineer i don't have the design experience to describe the best UI needed for the use cases to the model. The AI wins for everyday interactions that already have a standard way of interacting but i ended up having to do a lot of back and forth for sections that needed more custom flows and layouts (😅and to be honest I am still not satisfied).
thanks for the video, now i can finish off my website and make it high quality finally.
we are so cooked, we can't even imagine,
amazing
It's a tool like anything else. Super cool! 👍
I've never thought of Anthropic's logo as a chocolate starfish, but thank you for that.
The Devs think they don't need designers anymore and the designers think they don't need Devs anymore. Someone who is not a dev nor a designer think that they don't need either of them. Welcome to the future.
Incredible... can you give us informations about how many tokens where used per example?
Mas é sempre com as mesma fontes com essas cores?
Seeing someone who is excited for his job to vanish in the near future is fascinating.
wtf dude I was planning on learning this stuff for skills, fulfillment and fun and they drop this.
I would be more interested in Fable performing on a variety of open topics rather than creating a clone of something. It's not much of a designing tasks, it's a coding and replication ones. I would be eager to see how creative it is in different setups
