I absolutely love how you just do you; because ultimately we have to live with ourselves and you are the only one who knows you best. 😢I feel so bad for Porter. As a state 4 cancer survivor, 2x’s bone marrow transplants, graft vs host disease, scleroderma, leg amputation and much more I’ve definitely had my share of steroids. So much that now my pituitary gland doesn’t want to function any more so my adrenal glands are really suffering and produce no cortisol. When I’ve been on high doses it can give you VERY bad anxiety and irritability. I would be climbing the walls feeling crazy, can’t sleep, major restless leg syndrome where I couldn’t lay or sit, it’s truly awful. Poor Porter😢 He doesn’t understand why he feels like he does. Hopefully you can ween him off and find what’s causing the inflammation vs just giving him steroid as a bandaid. They are so bad on the body. Thinking of Porter so much, give him a big huge from me…huge animal lover as my animals are the reason I’m here today❤
Just a thought.. I dry all my lavender to make wonderful sachets to keep all the mean moths away from my lovely woolen clothes. I put them in lovely bags that I buy on Amazon. You can do this when you dry your rose petals. I gift them to friends who love them. 💕💕💕
Lydia, I love that you’re drying flowers. When I left New Zealand I pressed every herb and flower in my garden and bound them all in a hand book I made and covered with the husks from the corn I grew. It sits on my bookshelf and brings back lovely memories of beautiful gardening seasons in the Southern hemisphere.❤

Go with the French doors, its a cottage and you will spend the most time in the living room & kitchen, you would want to put the doors there especially for summer and spring to be able to open up and go out. Its worth the money in the end and blow the budget and hold off with the guest room if needed!
