After today's game vs Nigeria here's my take 1: Martinez is not the right to lead Portugal to win the WC , his tactics are just not good maybe it's because of mixibg first team players and team B . Also his squad selection was very bad . 2:as much as people say Ronaldo is done and old , Ramos doesn't really provide that lethalness you want from your striker , maybe because at PSG he's always on the bench doesnt get consistant game time , they should've looked for another striker from the Portugese league as a 3rd striker 3:Dalot should have never been selected to come to the US , I know he is a proffessional, never gets injured but HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH , decision making both defending and attacking is very very bad , he was supposed to stay home . 4:I wouldn't start Nuno Mendes as lb , he does not look fit just yet , cancelo can play there , he can come off the bench until he is fully fit . 5:Nunes needs to start as right back, we have seen him under pep he can play there , semedo comes off the bench . 6:verga and Diaz to start in the middle , leao and Neto on the wings , have a natural left footer on the right , and a right footer on the left . Cross in balls or cut inside and shoot . 7: Paulinha was supposed to come , the three PSG boys played a lot of games the past year and half , you can see the fatigue in their play , they look very tired , probably having muscle problem , Samu is not aggressive , Silva is old doesn't have legs , they needed an agressive midfielder, a paulinha to come on and finish off games . I could go on and on . But from what I've seen today unless , he makes serious changes , Martinez is not helping the team to win the WC .. I know some of will say "it's just a friendly" but facts are facts .
