Parenting Gets Easier When You Pick The Right Partner #mindfulparenting #relationships

Comedy

Parenting Gets Easier When You Pick The Right Partner. No parent gets everything right. There will be hard days, difficult moments, and times when you question whether you’re doing enough. That’s why one of the greatest gifts a parent can have is a partner who supports them when things get tough. Parenting isn’t about being perfect; it’s about staying consistent, trusting each other, and working as a team when challenges arise. Children may not always remember every lesson they’re taught, but they will feel the stability that comes from parents who stand together. Because the strongest thing a parent can do is know they don’t have to do it alone. Ngl i feel like the best way to calm an angry person down is by giving them some alone time. Don’t talk to them, it will only make them even more irritated, plus that’s extra time for you to do some other stuff. Just don’t forget to feed them. I know this works because my parents did this to me and now I can control my emotions much more.

My grandma had a wooden spoon in a drawer for these exact reasons, I learned really early on you don't hit just because you're angry.

Gentle parenting creates monsters. Physical pain is a great teacher...

See with my parents, if i was that kid.... The second i threw those cards at dads face, itd be a backhand, then itd be the belt, then itd be me picking up the mess, and then it would be bed, lights out, no electronics whatsoever. This kid is sooooooo lucky...

I did martial arts (understand power boundaries), cycling (concentration) and running (commitment and endurance). This channelled my anger and control issues.

I’m 12 My nephew is 8 (I’m a brown dude it’s normal) and he once slapped my mum. I told everyone I would take him upstairs to calm him down. All I did was throw my cat at his back lightly. My cat cowed his back to get balance and the rest writes itself

The way i was wide eyed, gasping and holding my mouth and everything. She screamed at her father, threw shit and slapped that man in the face ...while they are home alone, no strangers around , no public setting to dampen the response ...ive never seen a child try to get taken through there this badly.

Parenting is hard. Respect to the parents that do it.

My little sister used to cry when my other sister and me walked near a store to the point she refused to leave unless we buy something for her. One day my sister told me to call my mom meanwhile she stays trying to calm the little girl. My mom arrived and gave a lection to the girl. We are from Argentina by the way, Latinoamérica. I don't know how other cultures deal with this behavior.
