Anthropic has officially launched Claude Fable 5, the first publicly available Mythos-class AI model. Just two months ago, the company warned that its most advanced AI systems could be too powerful for unrestricted public use. Now, Anthropic has released a safer version of that technology while keeping the full-powered Claude Mythos 5 restricted to a small group of approved users. In this video, we explain what Claude Fable 5 is, how it differs from Claude Mythos 5, why governments are concerned about its cybersecurity capabilities, and what safety guardrails Anthropic has added.
