Children don't filter their thoughts the same way adults do; society hasn't yet programmed them with "thought morality." Meaning, many people don't allow their brains to go there because they are internally judging themselves and are afraid of what their thoughts might say about them. You can't think critically or creatively if your moral identity is entangled in never thinking a thought that isn't shiny and happy.

My first answer is that the person she killed was into the guy. It was a family funeral so they all met. The guy made the second victim and she fell for him. Thus leading to her murder.
