I cannot get over how they actually remade the first halo, But It's been reimagined. When you just do a simple remake your basically keeping everything the same and doing a graphics revamp. When you do a re-imagining, I think it's incredible. I think It redefines what the first game means. It's like it's taking the first game and building on it to a place that it never went before. I think that's actually exciting. I feel like it's something that we've never seen before. It's not even a reboot- it's saying What was the first game? How can We Improve it? How can we expand it? How can We Extend it? Can We make changes that Improve it, but give a functionally new experience but with something familiar? Those kind of questions feel way more interesting than a simple remake, and yet they feel intrinsically familiar than a new title. This is something Original. Cool, Undefined. Brave Even. And Also I am happy with the art Direction- Feels like an evolution.
Halo is back
My halo 2 disk growing up had some problems loading a certain level and me and my buddies would wait around the loading menu seeing if it would work. Worked about 1/10 times. Good memories from halo 2
As a casual Halo fan, this game looks absolutely sick to me. I can't wait to beat it and then turn on some cool skulls. Can't wait!! 😊
having to use skulls to remove all of modern "improvements" like sprint pisses me off

The gameplay looks totally watered down and generic and captures none of the dynamism and challenge of the OG. They don't understand Halo. They just don't. Thank goodness there is still the original to go back to in MCC

Actually, IIRC Cortana's lines for Zulu were also in the game unused so those are original lines they for some reason cut but some mods did put them in. Really cool that they did that either way.

Can'r wait for the modders to fix all of 343's mistakes. Maybe then the game will be worth the absurd asking price.
