Our Pyrenees do this at home. They place themselves strategically. One sits between the house and road, while the other one sits between the livestock and the house. They’re awesome

I absolutely love that he rolls over for morning belly rubs showing he’s still daddy’s boy apart from being a working dog. That’s a darn good boy. Side note: Anybody else’s dog do the same in the morning when you wake them up? Assuming you wake them up? Mine does this every morning. 🤔

My current dog is a great Pyrenees she is one of the smartest animals i.ve encountered. She will always put herself between me and the possible threat. Thats a good boy

I met one at an air bnb. He patrols this whole forest area where the cabin was. He would come by and check on us every night and take a break by the fire with us. Videos do not give justice to how damn big these dogs are in person, he scared the shit out of us at first, lol. He just walked out of the forest at night and we all ran inside, but he just slowly walked up to the door to introduce himself and we all fell in love with the big guy. You feel so safe with a dog that big by your side. Nothing is going to mess with you when he is next to you lol
