Man this update has me wanting to skip work and game all day
It's my understanding that if a hundred thousand players (across platforms) can get this weapon with catalysts, we'll get Destiny 3.
I was only 5 minutes into the update and I already wanted to cry, but I couldn’t. It makes me so sad this is how this beautiful game comes to a close, but I’m so happy in ended off on the strongest note the game ever bestowed.
Imagine if the ANNOUNCED all of this content months ago instead of just delays and then going radio silent… it probably would have saved them game. All of this took serious dev time. This wasn’t some last second toss in to save the game. This shit makes no sense.
Seeing this mission done live on twitch, had me thinking " it just keeps going and going." To think this was 80% a quality of life update also, imagine if devs, creatives, etc. had free reign. Damn shame how the executives held the team back. Can't over deliver now can we
IMO these numbers prove if bungie hadn’t adapted this “never over deliver “ mentality destiny wouldn’t be dying

First exotic mission ever for me was Thorn in D1. Now the last one I'll do is another weapon of sorrow. Full circle moment.
Honestly watching this video takes me back to when Destiny first released and the moon was a place of mystery. The twists and turns of it all made for fun moments of discovery.
I work night shifts, hence why I'm watching this on my break, and i only got to play a few hours today. Already got plans to play with my boys Friday. This game... man this game changed my life. Met great friends and made amazing memories. Got my wife to play this game. Thank you destiny. Just thank you. We will not go quietly into the night.
