To understand this a bit clearer, imagine if MCSR made a mod that they a put on a store on Minecraft called “Speedrunning Minecraft Bedrock” it wouldn’t make any sense. Especially when it’s impossible to replicate certain things that are unique to that game. You cannot one cycle the same, often times runners go to a warped forest for Ender Pearls. Most times runners will dug under villages to get to the stronghold first, or buried treasure spawns at x= 8 and z= 8. The branding of this makes zero sense and there is no use for this because Bedrock Speedrunners already have a ranked environment and place to practice solo runs. Honestly just feels like a cash grab from MCSR instead of just making a dedicated server for this.

I honestly don't understand the major anger people have. Like it's a shit $10 map, why people acting like the bedrock speedrunning community is now deleted from existance? Isn't it better for them if it isn't that polished lol.

Hi ! Here's some additional context, to understand why the reception to this map was so bad : 1- they presented it as "bringing MCSR to Bedrock" which is a wild statement to make, because "MCSR" has existed on bedrock for like 10 years, and MCSR Ranked has existed on Bedrock for 2 years, both completely free and better quality. 2- This is actually more like a fake FSG than Ranked, as there is no multiplayer. And there are already way better, free, and real, Bedrock FSGs out there 3- The map is very broken, in a way that PhoenixSC didn't fully showcase, for instance, bastions sometimes don't have piglins, and there are sometimes more than 1 iron golem in villages. 4- It is completely inaccurate to what a speedrun looks like, both on Java and on Bedrock 5-They asked people from the Bedrock speedrunning community for help, and when these people pointed out the issues, they were made fun of and discarded. Then these issues made it into the final build. 6- Speedrunning has always been free, and it should stay this way. It is possible to make free marketplace maps, but instead they chose to sell this bad quality product for 10$. And of course, many kids will buy this, having no idea there are better free alternatives. 7- It is unplayable on mobile, with loads of sometimes over 8 minutes, which is insane, since a lot of bedrock players are on mobile. There is also no mention of this anywhere, meaning you only realize it after you payed the 10$. 8- Even on PC and console, the loads can reach over 4 minutes, which is insane because loading an FSG or Ranked seed that does the same thing takes less than a minute. 9- There are ONLY 10 possible worlds in the map. You're literally paying 1$ per seed. And you don't even get the whole seed, but only a small area. 10- There are many other issues, notably due to the fact that the map is very poorly coded, making it uncesserarily bloated and unstable, but these are the biggest concerns.
