Someone on twitter pointed out that the female hooded figure sounds like the same Japanese VA that voiced Ava in KH X BACK COVER in 2.8. Also, her mannerisms, like putting her hands together, are mannerisms that Ava also expresses in that movie. The female hooded figure is likely Ava.

It's funny that you mentioned him stealing the Keyblade Surf idea from Vanitas, because he did the same thing with the chains. Remember when Terranort pulled out the dark chains? "You'll never be able to break these chains! They're _our bonds_ !" Sora is slowly learning to use all his enemies' moves against them.

Interesting thing I noticed about xehanort, he’s in the master xehanort cloths, not his dark road or usual black coat. The master said he’d out grow the coat or ditch it soon. As long as it isn’t an illusion this would be the oldest we’ve seen young xehanort, which could answer how apprentice teranort knew about a place ‘on the other side’.

The guy that you think is one of the upperclassmen from Dark Road, the keyblade actually further tells us this is likely true. If you notice, in Dark Road, his outfit is more samurai like? The keyblade he has in this trailer, the handle of it is wrapped like a katana.
