I think the tapestry means it will be the telling of the events of OOT from the TotK timeline. That would also make sense with the logo tying into the new games. Regardless of what it all means, I'm beyond excited for this release!

In the original when we first meet Zelda we know she also has prophetic dreams and she mentions the hero being a ‘Light from the forest’ so could what we have been shown be her dream and the triforce in Link’s hand being the ‘light’ as Zelda sees it in her dream?
I love how you feel the story, which everyone already knows what is going to happen, needs analysis. You turn every single drop of the hat into an analysis.
Just imagine entering Hyrule Market for the first time as Adult form in this remake, everything is destroyed and all the ReDeads lurking about....not to mention down the Well and the Shadow Temple. Let's hope they don't hold back!

Thanks! I didn't realize some notes were part of the Hyrule Field song. And I didn't know about the appearance of the Triforce on the back of Link's hand at his 16th birthday. Thanks also for inserting the scene in Skyward Sword. That saved me having to look for some video to watch it again. Take care and hold on until we have more news and the actual game in our hands! What an amazingly promising teaser, promising of something more magical than the original, which I didn’t think was possible!

Zeltik, I got into LoZ right before TotK came out. I tore through BotW and then TotK after it came out. I was insatiable for more, and then I found your account. I fell in love with the early Zelda games through your account, and now I'm so happy to have an opportunity to play OoT! I was hit with such nostalgia while watching this video that I started tearing up! I look forward to your thoughts leading up the the game, and I cannot wait to actually play it! Thank you for your videos! They make a newer fan like me feel connected to the past of the series enough to really enjoy this remake!

The announcement that is the definition of "this could have been an email" It's cool that they confirmed and announced it, but this trailer told and showed less than nothing If there was so much as a few seconds of games footage it would've been something, but we only got 1 frame of a cutscene Something as unassuming as Link standing on the ledge of his tree house or something So we currently have no idea what the game is going to look like, so they might as well not have bothered with a video at all

I'm super excited to hear the music. All of the songs are so iconic, and hearing an official remake of them will be amazing. They'd better stay faithful to it though, if they fuck up the music I'll riot. I also hope they keep the start menu of Link riding Epona across Hyrule Field. It's easily the most iconic start screen ever made
In the title logo we can see that the hylia shield is different. It does not have the fourth triangle so that would mean that is the true hylian shield and not a false copy.
