It’s ridiculous it took them that long to expand the nets. It was clearly dangerous. Kids and elderly especially came close to injuries all the time

That happened to me at a Birmingham Barons game once but I got hit in the back, it fractured my back and I was paranoid of it happening again the whole game so much I couldn’t even enjoy the game, I can’t even imagine what that family felt

Make an age requirement to prevent people too young or old to sit in certain area. I know it sucks but it keeps them safe.

For those who don’t know the full story it was an average cubs game and Albert hit a foul ball and it hit a little square and the face and they had to pause the game for over 5 minutes

People dont pay attention. Not to say there wouldnt still be incidents, but watch a game. Most people are on their phones or not paying attention to the game.
