It is astounding how long some people will ignore infections. I knew a guy who let one go on his foot to the point bone was showing through. He lost three toes as a result.

At first I thought the sting I felt when I ate pineapple was just the bromelain (sp?) in it, but then I learned it’s not normal to get a rash when you eat it nor is it normal to feel like you can’t swallow afterwards. Turns out it wasn’t the enzymes necessarily, I’m just allergic 😢
