WATCH EP2 NOW! https://members.madlab.tv/programs/fos_ep2 After months of MADLAB’s locked doors and the team being under NDA we can now finally reveal in this clip what we’ve been cooking inside. A project pitched by Mike exactly 10yrs ago now has everything aligned to kick things off to transform the dream platform a 1986 March 87P F1 into a fire breathing, rotary powered Drift car to entertain the world. Ep1 we take delivery of the car from Europe and start the planning process of what size motor we can fit, gearbox, modify steering etc etc and realise just how much work we have ahead of us. That's a MadOne for sure
would have loved to see you use the original f1 engine but at the same time if it breaks, you won't find parts for it easily either way can't wait to see what you do with it.
Toni is such a G, the support and faith she has in Mike is so admiral. The backbone to the machine that is MADMIKE.
Mike lake 3d printing his own f1 drift car atm couldn’t be a coincidence 😆
Insane. Absolutely insane. SO keen for this bro. Next level 🤘🏻
tbh I was a little sad that an iconic F1 car was going to get cut up, but a after bit of research I find that this isn't a genuine F1 car, its a replica made from a period F3000 chassis with a 3.0 Cosworth v8 that has no internals, mated to an original march transmission, so no historic car is going to be destroyed lol. Its no wonder theres been no mention of getting it running, because the block be empty :) I now look forward to the finished project, smoke those avon's!!
At Driftmasters 2026, there was a wildcard driver with an AMG GT. It had the handbrake pedals attached to the steering wheel. Maybe that could be a possible thing to do. The steering wheel was a racewheel like F1, and he had changed the ratio of steering at the steering wheel and the actual steering of the wheels.
Something feels so poetic about rebuilding an Adrian Newey car into a drift monster This is gonna be unreal I can't wait
Mad Mike truly is Mad! Love it
I would have taken such an iconic car for a spin before breaking it down for sure! Can’t wait to see where you go with this one!
After having a near heart attack when you spoke of cutting it up, I looked up March 97P, a genuine F1 car that kinda isn't.
A priceless item is never lost , it's simply passed down from generation to generation. It's wonderful that it has reached the hands of Mad Mike and his team. 🤟
When its blowing mike's mind you know it's epic!!!!
😵 now this will we sick to watch you guys build! Keep following your dreams bro 👌👌
So pumped for this car! Your fleet is the coolest on earth by far.
5:27 that face says everything 🥲👌
We used to import and install Cobra Alarms in NZ and they where clearly miles infront of other brands. Dont think many know this. ....& Mike is Mad, but we know that. lol
So cool to know that Senna is a reference to you! Shout out from Brazil! 🇧🇷
This will be radical bro can't wait
Yeahh boi can't wait to see what you do love what you do brother shout out to Toni too for being so supportive
