The Deltarune Chapter 5 trailer was officially released during the Nintendo Direct this morning, and it was CRAZY! I can't believe all of the things shown - we're going to be running around with Kris, Susie, and Ralsei in Asgore's Flower King Dark World, themed to traditional Japanese architecture, with all sorts of flower-themed enemies. There are blue roses, Omega Flowey attacks, white pens of hope, and... the return of Woody Theory!? #deltarunechapter3 #deltarunechapter2 #deltarune

Chapter 6 is easy to make because it’s just 58 hours of Lancer playing his tuba
Deltarune in 2 DAMN WEEKS
My favourite part was when the darkners said ”its blooming time!” And bloomed all over the screen
I’m betting the feather is a movement power up item similar to the Climbing Claws that lets the party dash across the water later in the trailer with featherlight steps
0:14 my brother in Gaster we are NOT forgetting the June 2022 “farming game Direct”
If Toby Fox has taught me anything, it's that if a flower appears in one of his games, something bad's gonna happen.
10:48 Ok, but consider. "Cowboys vs. Ninjas" is like _the_ most quintessential "Theme Mashup" idea ever. So I think it _is_ somewhat plausible.
im glad someone is talking about the omega flowey attack, genuinely crazy sneak peek
scary rendering error at 2:09
0:59 the hard cut from Toby to the rudins has flowers that shift from pink to yellow
I’m genuinely still in shock I cannot believe it’s so soon
3:36 Because blue roses do not exist naturally, they primarily symbolize the unattainable, mystery, and achieving the impossible. Culturally and spiritually, these rare blooms carry several layers of specific meanings about hope, new beginnings and dreams along with the "un-attainable"- for example; Gifting a blue rose signifies that a person is capable of breaking the rules and turning impossibilities into reality so the context will be really important- theres alot of flower language symbolizing in the trailer that could totally be worth a video of its own
7:30 why is no one talking about the way the glass is shaped at the top, very friend-like, very cat-like.
10:10 just so you know, those plants are called “cattail’s”… which could mean nothing… 👀
Consider: woody theory but rather than a cowboy (romanticised western wandering outlaw with a revolver as their trademark weapon) he's a ronin (japanese romanticised wandering outlaw with a katana as their trademark weapon). We know alphys has shown him anime at some point + the western as it's known today is a direct descendant of japanese flims like Yojimbo or Seven Samurai.
5:37 is possible that maybe the roaring happens in chapter 6. If so, then the world would essentially become one big dark world, connecting them all onto a singular map maybe? This means Toby can reuse many assets and areas from all previous dark worlds, and thus, a lot of it's already done.
2:10 Oh no, they EXEfied my deltarune chapter 5
9:43 there is like 1 segment in chapter 2 between susie and ralsei leaving and finding noelle where Kris has a solo battle against regular enemies
Japanese architecture? Sakura themed enemy? Imagine if there was a certain cold antler-headed character with a light world object (a sword maybe) that is also tied to japanese themes. Imagine if those were connected and there was a fight with said character. Imagine if that fight would perhaps stem from our distrust of said character because of their ties with the weird route. Imagine, if you will, that the fight will only involve Kris as the only one allowed close to that person and they used a multiple-bladed attack. Wouldn't that be neat huh
what if rudy dies as the sun goes down
