What people don't realize is that, we always do well when the odds are against us. In 2006 our best player was Laryea Kingston, he didn't make it to the world cup. In 2010, our best player was Michael Essien, he couldn't make. In 2026, our best player Mohamed Kudis couldn't make it. Do you see the trend. Let me shock you more. In 20o6, our best defender Samuel kufout played just once and couldn't continue. In 2010 our best defender Isaac Vorsah couldn't make it. And in 2026 our two best defenders could not make it I realms of the spirit, I see a 2006 or 2010 repeating itself. When the odds are against us, that is when we perform. Someone should mark this somewhere.

I really like the kind of culture the coach has been building with the team. He’s been working on the team’s psyche and mentality about patriotism and connecting them to their rich heritage. I really admire him. He’s a very experienced coach.

Anyone who doesn’t know his history is like a boat in the heavy storm. GES MUST include HISTORY in our curriculum. From Primary to JHS and as Core subject at SHS and tertiary level one can study BSc in HISTORY.
