Problem with LLMs (AI is great, LLMs are the problem), is that scaling them is ridiculously inefficient based on current architectures. We’re glued to regressive transformers, when we need to explore different spaces to make them more profitable/useful/EFFICIENT!!

Hah, maybe there's a correlation here, this professor made an exercise where this exact exercise takes place but instead of AI, it's Skittles, kinda makes you wonder: /shorts/2NBMmdJRjuw?si=KjnQk1y75XvjtKFz

This stage of AI isn't about making money, but entrenching in as many industries as possible, and developing the models. The idea, and I have no idea how it'll turn out, is that once the models are competent enough, and critical to enough industries, they could start charging enough to be profitable at first, and then to make mountains of cash. That's the idea at least.

it’s insane because it absolutely could be profitable and even decent but like 5 of the worst 10 people on the planet are spearheading it

AI is like the mimics or skin walkers. Eerily human-like at first glance, but creeps you out if you look closer.
Streetlight Manifesto mentioned!!! Wohooo!!!
Thus why some people are calling it a circlejerk.
in a gold rush you need to sell shovels
Wow! This is such a cool site!
Man, even the 1% got a 1%
Nice to see you wearing the shirt.
