I love hearing bs misinformation spread about events happening in nature as if there aren't scientists in South Africa that couldn't tell you in your face you are spouting bs. Like do you just ramble and garble and spit out everything you heard from Sannie who heard it from Piet who heard it from his uncle Johannes who heard it from a rondom dude named Johnson? Important to note that things are much more complex than two orcas ate up entire populations of great white sharks. Like, this is 1) the ocean we are talking about with no real big barriers 2) lots of animals that migrate according to their environment. Some migrate thousands and thousands of kilometers. 3) South Africa has a lot of deep sea mining and trawling activity which if you could guess it means bad stuff for a lot of aquatic animals. Things are never as simple as they seem and depending on what is essentially ghost stories as your news about current events is just crazy

Look at this idiot spreading misinformation. The reason the Sharks moved away was because of the rising climate in the Northern Cape's sea. The orca's have NOTHING to do with the lack of Sharks in Cape Town,

I’m from South Africa and what I’ve been told and learned is that Great Whites love warm water so I’m a bit confused with this statement 😅
