This goes so much deeper than Dolan describes. It's layers upon layers of weirdness. At one point, you get to find out that the staff of various PvP ranking sites are actually just straight up teenagers Edit: I don't think you all understand how weird this is. Most competitive players are adults, yet the people who judge where they should be are actual minors. Most teenagers in the Minecraft scene don't know how to detect cheating, which is exactly how Marlow slipped under their noses. It was the easiest thing to find, yet they still messed up. It makes zero sense why they were even there in the first place. They clearly were not qualified. Plus, it seems odd for the owner of the site to be an adult yet have no one else on the staff be qualified for the job. This isn't about adults talking to minors, it's about how easy it is for cheating to slip under the cracks. Edit 2: Yes. It was a corrupt ranking system too, as pointed out in a reply. The fact that these are just kids is also crazy. I don't understand how people can say that it's expected because Minecraft is a kid's game.
