Misha started 5th grade, and Kostya started 3rd grade. Everything seemed normal, and classes had just begun. Then suddenly, the ground started shaking. At first, I thought I was simply feeling dizzy because I hadn’t eaten breakfast before taking the kids to school. I became scared, sat down, and thought I might faint. But then I noticed students and teachers rushing out of the classrooms. That’s when I realized it wasn’t just me. An earthquake had struck. The earthquake’s epicenter was about 180 kilometers away from us, but the shaking was strong enough to frighten everyone. Students, teachers, and parents were evacuated, and school was canceled on the very first day. It's a good idea that the two brothers are in different classes at school. That way, they can be more independent of each other. I think it's healthy for their growth and self-development to sometimes do things separately. And when they are together, they have more things to talk about based on their individual experiences. Kostya's thoughtful - he ordered earphones not just for himself but for his brother as well. (Glad everyone's safe from that earthquake.

I felt bad for this kids, first time in school still anxious being not with their parents for the first time in a place they are not used to and be traumatized by this natural occurrence.. stay positive, keep safe and god bless for all the people who are affected by this dangerous earthquake❤
I’m excited to see how Kostyra and Misha cope up with other kids at school. When I was a kid, first week of school is the most exciting. I hope they will enjoy it.

It was a like a baptism of fire...first day of school plus earthquake. What a day indeed. Take care! It's good that the kids get to integrate with other Filipino kids.
It is good that Hanna is there. It is good that Hanna and Kostya are classmates now. If Kostya does not understand something, Hanna is there to teach and support him. Both of them will learn as long as they keep studying. The two of them have improved a lot. They now know how to read in English. Those English books given to them were a big help. Take care always. It was the first day of school and an earthquake already hit.

From southern mindanao, and I'm also sad to say that I was pretty excited to get back to school and meet my friends, but my smile instantly faded when we were hit by that powerful earthquake, thankfully from my town we were fortunate because we weren't hurt, I give prayers to everyone who was affected.
Its great that your children have a half Russian/Filipina with them to go school . Stay safe from quake there, I also felt it here in Cebu city.

I heard the news (from U.S.) that the big earthquake hit the southern a Philippines, and strongly hit Davao, particularly, General Santos🙏 Thank God that you’re all safe and sound in Samal, and you’re right, it would have been scarier if you were inside the house, luckily you were just at the school playground waiting. Earthquake aside, so happy for Misha and Kostya that they’re now in the right grade according g to their age. It’s a nice school, and what I love about every PI school whether it’s public or not, they’re in pretty school uniforms. Hannah is funny and cute about being so early, especially when she told you guys in previous vlog that you have to wake up at 5 am, 😆 I couldn’t do that either..another similarity I found with you, never an early riser, and I was end up driving my kids late to school back then, but now missing those days, so, I tell you every moment, and you guys life there looks so fun. I was laughing when Hannah was already there and just a few minutes ago at 640am you were just waking up Kostya😇 I wonder how Alina is going to be, maybe she’s gonna wake you up instead, because with my daughter when she was only 3 years old, she woke up earlier than me, because she automatically went to sleep at 9pm 🕘 Ahh, sweet memories of school kids🥰 You know what’s more fun there in the PH?…those early mornings that you smell pandesal being sold, buy and eat them for breakfast with eggs 🍳 and coffee ☕ Btw, that’s such a nice trait of Sergey to always ask Hannah if she wants to eat— that’s so Filipino, reminds me of my parents❤ He got funny games with Alina🥰 So happy for your kids, no one is left out with their respective dad around. Btw, don’t be surprised if you experience follow up earthquakes here and there— they’re referred to as “aftershocks”.
