I always knew we were getting a Code Veronica remake before 5 because you need the Wesker exposition so new audiences know who he is and what his motivations are.

“What will YOU HAVE AFTER 500 YEARS?" "Not resident evil 5 remake, dad, I'd still not have that"

The Sega Dreamcast was excellent.

Alfred Ashford's twisted obsession with his sister was the whole point of his character and the subject of several plot twists. If they dial that down or remove it then that's going to really be a shame.

Okay, if Ashford doesn't laugh like a dolphin, I'll be disappointed.

I'm fine with any remake as long as it isn't "for modern audiences"

I hope they keep that hilarious evil laugh by the twin brother

Honestly, I’d give Capcom a lot of credit if they still had Claire call Alfred a “cross-dressing freak” in the remake, but I highly doubt they’ll keep that line. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they removed the cross-dressing aspect altogether and replaced it with something else.

Lets just hope its not a RE3 quality remake.

“Where exactly in Europe? Don’t know doesn’t matter.” Paris, dude. She’s in Paris. They literally say that in the original CV

My only concern is naming it Veronica and not Code Veronica. It makes me think it won’t be a full adaptation. Hopefully they don’t cut too much and change it around to shorten it like they did 3.

After how they turned Carlos and Ashley into really great characters, I'm curious what they do with Steve.

Funfact about the original Code Veronica/X, Code Veronica X was given a Dreamcast release in Japan, and was called "Biohazard: Code Veronica Kanzenban." Kanzenban translating "complete edition" implying the original release was incomplete.

At 1:47, you can read "Café du Parapluie". In French, it means Umbrella's Café/bar.

Claire being able to do John wick shit honestly isn't a stretch. Chris had been teaching her pretty much everything he knew up until resident evil 2. Plus she spends most of that scene running as opposed to actually fighting directly because she's outgunned.
