The oil thing is true to an extent. A thicker oil will stop noises, but too thick and you'll clog your motor. Make sure to check limitations of the exact motor. Or pay a hefty rebuild/replacement cost.

Battery tech here! Countless times I’ve seen people pour boiling hot water on corroded terminals, almost every single time I’ve taken em off there’s more packed in between the terminal and post, within the terminal itself, and it makes it harder to remove the terminal sometimes. Just take the thing off, bang it on the post a few times, wipe it clean, and if you have the appropriate cleaner for it use it!

I've been doing the plastic cover on my steps for years, so much easier than shoveling snow.

You don't have to put a penny on a battery cable you can just take hot water and pour it on there and clean it up

That plastic on the car, I did that in our last snow storm, I put a tarp over the car, toes the edges down with twine and it worked pretty good.

The snow guy just scratched the hell out of his paint.

If you do it with red paint, they’ll know. If you do it with UV paint, then you can see the truth and never go to that shop again.
