Pregnancy is so hard on body and mind. You’re completely valid in how you feel. Your body is creating a whole person. It’s working extra hard. Rest a lot now. You’re in the home stretch.
Hey Laiba I’m an emergency medicine doctor and when people say don’t kiss the newborn baby it doesn’t mean the lips. Most pediatricians recommend not letting family kiss the baby until they’re 2-3 months. It’s mostly to prevent viruses such as herpes, respiratory viruses, etc. It doesn’t matter how close you are to family, I am too but that’s a condition I set from the beginning and because they loved my baby, they respected my decision.
Omg chedders face is soo cute the way he sits next to you is adorable hope your feeling better can't wait to see for the baby to arrive you gius putting the push chair together is soo fun to watch your dad and masood banter is hilarious there too funny
8:23 no laiba they are not just talking about kissing on the lips. When people say no kissing the baby they mean NO KISSING period.
Your vlogs are so genuine and authentic ❤ Thanks for showing the hope and hard , it means more than I can explain in words. Go Laiba, you got this
No they’re not talking about kissing on the lips LOL just meant in general kissing on the face too
51 Minutes! Worth the wait 🥰🥰
Seeing Papa Zaid in your vlog. Make me feel happy, because I don't see Uncle as being offended. Plus, the Uncle and Masood duo is so funny every time😂
Loving the vlogs! I've been watching your channel for years and literally my favorite influencer. Wishing you a smooth birth and recovery <3
Just a FYI you can use butter instead of oil for cake mix
Sorry for bombarding you with comments! Id recommend you making a snack basket for yourself with dates, granola bars, nuts, lactation cookies etc because when BF, you get so hungry! Best is to plan ahead otherwise I swear i reached for every carb I could find. Which made me very bloated and feel very icky after! Mutton neck yakhni cubes if Aunty can make it for you and just freeze them. Take out a cube and microwave it when needed. Additionally, just fill jars with healthy snack options that dont make you feel icky after. So jars of like : Mixed nuts Oat bars Dried apricots or dates Dark chocolate squares Crackers Peanut butter sachets Protein balls/energy balls : ((1 cup oats ½ cup peanut butter ¼ cup honey 2 tbsp chia seeds ¼ cup dark chocolate chips Roll into balls and refrigerate. They're perfect for those middle-of-the-night feeds!)) Electrolyte packets- please keep up with your electrolytes. so important. Also water bottles. I used to get so thirsty and wouldnt have energy to get water at times. A few weeks in, I just stocked up on water bottles. I kept electrolyte sachets nearby too. And in your case, protein shakes. ALSO. Milk boosting snacks prepped in the fridge if possible. 1/ Overnight oats with berries and peanut butter. 2. Banana with almond butter 3. Greek yogurt with granola and chia seeds 4. Homemade lactation cookies with oats and brewer's yeast 5. Smoothie with oats, banana, flaxseed, and yogurt 6. Boiled eggs 7. Cheese and crackers with fruit 8. Hummus 9. Your chia seed pudding 10. Breakfast burritos type of things incase you're extra hungry. and milk with zeera and sooji in the mornings esp in the early days when you're healing. it really feels like a warm hug. My mum used to make me a whole jug and put it in the fridge. Also please google lactation cookies and order some if thats something you're interested inm.
Hey Laiba I had the same issue with low iron levels during pregnancy. My doctor recommended taking my iron pill after breakfast and before lunch along with oranges or another source of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps your body absorb iron better. This was recommended by my OB, so it might be worth trying. I noticed a difference after I started having fresh-squeezed orange juice every day with my iron supplement. It can be a bit of extra work, but for me, it felt worth it. I hope it helps you too!
I practice in the U.S. and work in high-risk OB. While 140/90 is only mildly elevated, if you're having symptoms such as headache, dizziness, vision changes, RUQ pain, shortness of breath, or significant swelling, I would recommend being evaluated. Preeclampsia can progress quickly, especially in the third trimester, and there are often subtle warning signs before more severe symptoms develop. I would also recommend checking your blood pressure several times throughout the day and keeping a log. I'd want to review those readings within the next week, along with preeclampsia labs including a CBC, CMP (liver enzymes/creatinine), and urine protein assessment. Inshallah, everything goes well.
What a perfect timing i was missing you 🥺 take care
I understand what you mean about not having a baby shower...whilst its quite normal for some ppl to host one equally there's nothing wrong with opting out of one. Its not a big thing here in the UK its gained popularity in more recent years otherwise before then no one had ever really heard of them lol
Not only on the lips. "No-Kiss Policy: Politely but firmly ask family and friends to refrain from kissing the baby on the face or hands, especially during RSV season. The safest place to give a kiss is gently on the baby's feet."
Keep an eye on BP because of the headaches…my bp was slightly elevated in my third tri but wasn’t diagnosed with preeclampsia BUT I ended up having postpartum preeclampsia after giving birth and being discharged from the hospital…sooo I always stress to my family and friends to keep an eye on your health after birth because that can be overlooked…but I do hope you have a safe and peaceful delivery! good luck! You’re almost there ❤!!
Make sure in one of the baskets you put change of clothes also saves you going up and down, wish you all the best ❤
Last few weeks feels exactly like this.. i remember having annoying itch everywhere ... it is all worth it. I hope you feel better.. lots of prayers ❤❤
I recommend taking some newborn zipper onesies (3)for the hospital. It’s the easiest honestly with diaper changes. And then one going home outfit like u mentioned!!
