A couple months ago I had to do this with my older sister, I carried her around the house because she was so drunk she couldn’t walk, I helped her go to the bathroom and everything. At the same time I was trying to balance school and taking care of the family, I’m currently a sophomore in high school but I’m about to be a junior. The reason for taking care of my family is because my dad had a heart attack and my mom and other older sister were managing stuff at the hospital and would pick us up and drop us off at school and that’s it. My sister started drinking because she got into a car accident a week after my dad had a heart attack, she broke her lower back and coded in the ER. She’s doing better now, she’s on probation because of the alcohol issues that carried until late April. But yeah, people can get extremely drunk, and they need someone to take care of them because they physically can’t take care of themselves. Edit: I forgot to clarify but what I mean by “us” when I was talking about school, I meant me and my younger brother.
