I’m sure you already know but you asked at 10:24 so here we go. The knuckle ball is a type of pitch in baseball that features no spin on a baseball. Unlike a ball with front spin (i.e . Curveball, Slurve, 12-6 Curve) or a ball with back spin (i.e. Fastball, Cutter) which allows it to move in a certain direction, a knuckle ball is thrown in a way that there is no spin at all making the pitch wildly unpredictable and virtually unhittable when thrown right, but because of its unpredictable nature, it is very hard for pitchers to control and often takes years of training to perfect the pitch.
