I don't think spending a night should bring any quarrel after all she will be leaving the next day for Abuja. It's just a gesture of hospitality imo so far she doesn't overstep her boundaries as guest and her ex also respect himself and his wife. They could escort her to the airport the next day to see her off. I see many comments here in support of the wife. Unfortunately however, the wife got it all wrong with being antagonistic with the ex the very first minute without waiting for her husband's first reaction. The suggestion being made by some people, that the man should give his ex a rental fee for a hotel should have quietly come from his wife, if she was calm and thinking. Many men don't tolerate their views,opinions or decisions being taken by others, including their wives - depending on how her past attitude on issues had been. Secondly, when a man receives an ex so gently, it could also mean they had lived well and that the circumstances of their separation wasn't out of sever personal animosity. My advice under the circumstance, Madam follow your husband's lead, and then calmly suggest a better idea if you don't like his decision. You can even offer to contribute a part of the hotel rentage, if there's a claim of money shortage.
