The electric build-in heater for the front and rear windshield was a blessing. You couldn’t see nothing if everything was covered with ice. I still remember scraping off ice from my car windows 05:00am in the morning before going to work….auch!

The slide for adjusting the front seats was a good idea!. Short/long people were glad with that. The upstanding part of the seats could also bend down, so that passengers could enter easy in the back, of a 2 door car.

The electric water spray motor for the windshield was a true must. The VW beetle used preasure from the spear tire to spray the water. So clever.!

Whatabout the fuel gauge.? Electric or cable(the mexican and brazilian VW beetle). Not handy if you ran out of gas. Once I had to check the km gauge of my car that helped me, to know when it was time to fill up gas again.
