Decent performance by the Socceroos, especially considering they started with a mostly B team. Switzerland are very decent, so even in a practice game a draw has merit.
Both goals were terrible defending. The Socceroo's backline need to get on the same page. Five defenders across the backline, attacker in behind the right back & kept onside by the two defenders on the left. one against FIVE.
Great job from Irankunda. It’s not a great first half again, but the second half is always good.
Irankunda looked lively, was good when he linked up with Volpato a couple of times. Souttar was great, Geria looked very composed when he came on too. Seeing as our Midfield is basically non-existent when we're in possession, we'll most likely only score from quality balls from our CB's out wide. At least we can play to our strengths.
Great unselfish ball across the box to Yengi! We need to be playing this way in the World Cup! Link up football in the final 3rd and passing square balls to feet in and around the box is tough for any team to defend
