This is extremely dangerous. My dad worked as a bridge operator for a while, and every time he has seen something like this happen, it has ended badly. The bridge barriers and warning markings are there for a reason—they exist to keep people safe and prevent serious accidents. He has witnessed multiple near-death incidents involving people who ignored those safety measures. Please stop doing this. You might save a minute or two, but is risking your life really worth it? No amount of time saved is worth the possibility of serious injury or death.
