Sceleritas cares for the Dark Urge, but only as long as you stick to Bhaal's plan. Lose to Orin, and he's quick to throw you aside.

For those who are wondering, yes there is a way to fail. Either by doing… this… or by rejecting her and sending her away. If you send her away he ends up killer alfira instead. No matter what you do, someone has to die

Fun fact! If during the long rest in which youre meant to kill alfira, you instead kill the Dark Urge character and then go to sleep, Alfira will still die as if the Durge had killed her, but Scleritas will comment as if you did not kill her and wont give you the cloak. I have, no idea what kills her but apparently Durge's soul is so strong that it can kill people from beyond the grave without getting any recognition for doing so. Maybe Bhaal himself just kills her? To spite Durge for being dead? Actually now that i think about it maybe Scleritas kills her instead since Durge is dead

When I played Durge, I killed all the Goblin Camp, Most of the Grove, everyone I saw on the side of the road, most of the Hideout, most of Blighted Village, and this moron was telling me it wasn't enough, so I told him to kick rocks. 😂

I prefer to make Alfira unconscious before that event and let my Tav kill the other bard tbh 😅

If you play a charisma magic based character, do not kill her, she gives a piece of badass gear in act 2 for charisma magic casters

Whhhaaaatttt?!?!? I didn't know there was even an option to not kill her. My Durge just kinda went with it both time I played the evil route.

Will never not hate that Larian chose not to make Alfira a companion and instead trolled the community by making her join the dark urge only for them to kill her. Honestly puts a sour taste in my mouth anytime I see the dark urge.

I really wish that the backup Dragonborn bard Quill Grootslang was the default and not alphira, alphira has narrative arcs that continue on throughout the game,some really nice rewards and a adorable romance with Lakrissa even with plans to open a bards school that you'll miss out on just because of dirge needing to kill a barred character who could have been our bard class companion and another exotic race to the party. You pretty much only have Laezel, karlach and minthara when it comes to Unique races in the mostly human, elf or half elf party. Plus if the default dark urge is a white Dragonborn then your murdering a silver Dragonborn a being of your own race and culture. I feel like it does a really nice reference to ancestry too since white dragons are supposedly chaotic vicious Hunters and silver dragons are of bahamuts lawful and wise dragons.
