It’s easier said than done, but even if someone looks away, if another person is looking at it, it won’t move.
I'm guessing the way SCP normally "contains" this thing is by picking up the thing with a crane and sealing it in a cell made of 5 layers of hurricane glass, then they routinely have like... 20+ interns take shifts watching the thing from all sides for an allotted amount of time before going onto their other crappy SCP duties. Well... at least until that one incident that caused the entire intern pool to be without sleep for three days straight..
