THIS is the kind of content I'd much rather see and hear from these guys like Andrew Bustamante, Jack Carr, Chase Hughes, Evy Poumpouras, and the others. I'm sure people enjoy watching and hearing these former CIA, Navy Seals, Green Berets, and Intelligence Interrogators talk about their time in the military or the agencies, and I'm sure people enjoy hearing their thoughts and opinions on what's happening in the world around us right now as well... but I'm just being transparent here - THIS is the kind of content I'd rather see and hear out of these guys, even if they need to make a separate channel to make it happen. As a person who grew up with a great amount of complex childhood trauma, I just never got this kind of teaching. I don't yet know what I don't know so I have no idea what questions I should be asking but I'm desperate to learn and grow. I want to know what the concepts and skills are that the military teaches in an effort to become that person I've always wanted to be though. I've watched a lot of videos on growth and development but these military guys and intelligence agency guys are the ones who seem to explain it best when they're willing to go there on that type of topic. Chase is extremely good at teaching social conversational skills - I absolutely LOVE it when he teaches "if they say that, then you say this". That has helped me sooo much in overcoming social anxiety and it has made me a better person as a whole. I really do wish these guys would teach more on topics and concepts that just help us to become better versions of ourselves... I also want to learn how to build and maintain mental toughness. I'm hoping one of them will go there with that topic sometime soon. I desperately want to learn how to become a high performance and mental toughness kind of person. (Yes, I would go into the military if I could but I have a full hearing loss in one ear, also due to the complex childhood trauma, so I am not eligible. Even after having scored super high on the ASVAB and graduating state university with a 3.75 GPA. Nonetheless, I want that training that they get in the military - the training I'll never get to experience. Sigh. I just want to become a better person and I know full well that these guys are the ones to learn it from. Obviously, I would love to buy the online training and courses most of them offer but I just don't have that in the budget at the moment so I'm extremely thankful that you guys are offering that same teaching, training, and information here on Youtube too.). Thank you sooo much for all the growth and development content you put out - this kind of content is huge for people like me who grew up with no home training, no intentional parenting, and no teaching on life skills. Having grown up with severe complex childhood trauma, I just did not get any teaching and training on mental toughness, solid social skills, let alone, life lessons on how to even be productive and successful so thank you for all you do to get this content out there. I don't know if you realize how much of an impact it's made on so many of us who didn't get that kind of training but it's made a huge difference in my life for sure, and likely many others as well.

I was a big ticket hit and run salesman dealing with sophisticated buyers, small business peopl, whot dealt with salespeople all the time. I sold directory advertising, Yellow Pages. Ask your grandparents. I would simply cock an ear toward the customer to signal I was listening. It worked to well that people would start to tell me their life stories, gripes, problems, etc. A lot of people have nobody they can talk to. It could be a problem, because my goal was to get a signature and get on to my next customer.

This is why farming impressions in social apps is effective; people like to correct other people

This is how social media keep users engaged, they usually show incorrect information that triggers you

By far the most valuable use for this: Having your girlfriend keep talking without actually being asked any questions. It's amazing! She even thought I listened! Thanks CIA, I'll call it even for all the times you used our bill of rights as toilet paper.

I actually found this enlightening. And unlike other people, I actually found the subtitles amusing. Going to try this in my daily routine with people

It's funny that's actually very common technique when people are getting to know each other

And it's my favourite part about these podcasts, when the listener ACTUALLY LISTENS the answer without interrupting it. Cause here in India, they keep podcasts around an hour, as it's a task....

I knew a lady who should have worked for the CIA. She was this warm, comforting, motherly lady who worked as a secretary. All a person had to do was sit in the chair by her desk, and with or without chocolate chip cookies, they'd end up telling her their whole life story. It would just all come out, whether she wanted to hear it or not.

People love to prove others wrong, not help those asking honest questions.
