The people paying more than double the price are so stupid. Valve will have more available soon.
Want to fight scalpers, stop f-ing buying from them! People need to control themselves.
Scalpers exist because the General public buys from them
continuing to pay the scalpers is the reason the target pokemon pop tarts are on eBay for $25/box
Your editor trolling with that old steam controller image
Valve should had only sold 1 controller per person.
i spent like 30 min spamming the continue button and finally got a steam controller.
I was on the app the moment the steam controller dropped, and it wouldn't let me buy it. I was able to cart it, select payment method, but after that it would show an error and the transaction wouldn't get completed. I didn't try too hard, cuz I'm not in a hurry to get it. Absolutely not paying a scalper either.
Why do people keep buying stuff from scalpers? I'd rather miss out on something entirely than pay double or triple the price to a dude trying to make some extra cash this way.
I knew that "and it's gone"was going to be mentioned in this episode. 😅
I can't understand buying anything from a scalper
I'm really disappointed that Valve didn't have something in place to combat scalpers.
I added one to my cart and I could never checkout after that.
When a game has a great story, I don’t mind if you even 10 hours.
lol, the steam controller image!
I was pretty surprised to see it sold out that quickly. I mean it’s nice but I didn’t think the demand was that high.
Ontario Canada recently did something interesting to curb ticket scalpers. It would be very interesting if they expanded it to say the reselling of any "new" product so say a scalpers bought pokemon cards or gaming hardware it would be illegal to sell it for more than msrp
eBay needs stricter anti-scalper regulations
Eventually every Walmart on earth will have tons of steam controllers. People paying double now for what will be readily in stock later is crazy. It’s a controller. A default controller. The first generation of anything, so paying $250 on a gamble of a brand new controller is crazy. And it definitely isn’t covered by steam if the original purchaser is some scalper.
2:57 God this is never gonna not be an "issue". These people really just want quantity over quality, huh?
