FQHC's provide a wonderful service to safety net communities, but their primary care must be extended to specialties. Getting a patient onto home peritoneal dialysis when he is undocumented, and uninsured, is a frustrating, wasteful, inhumane process. The undocumented must be given access to healthcare. The social determinants of health care are critical. SNaHP and PNHP are lights shining in the blackness. Keep up the illumination.
