'A FAKE Racism Claim Was Treated MORE SERIOUSLY Than Stab Wounds' | Poppy Coburn

Activism

A survey has revealed that some Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary officers and staff felt "controlled and pressured to feel certain ways" during mandatory diversity training. The course addressed racism, unconscious bias, privilege, and allyship. One in seven officers and staff (15%) said they felt pressured to adopt certain views, while a similar proportion worried that mistakes could be held against them. One in five said they feared being judged or rejected for saying the wrong thing. Jeremy Kyle is joined by Poppy Coburn, Assistant Comment Editor at The Telegraph, to discuss this.
