Good to see you looking well Nick. Around 30 years I’ve played this game and even as an Unc I still play to much, or did. The last month I’ve just stopped without realising. I’ve got over 1700 goals and games on one of my players but I’m just sick of it man. It’s not playstyles or Evos or even store packs that have ruined the game. It’s Ea who have ruined it, they take the fun out of everything on purpose. We can’t even put a name or face to these people because they hide out of shame because they know they are selling a copy and paste unfinished game to us mugs every year. Shameless company but we live football and they take advantage of that.
Not played for months. Came back the other day just to play clubs, god, what a breath of fresh air. I actually.. Enjoyed my time on fifa. Ultimate team is just a cancer that will continue to slowly eat away fifa until its completely dead
I love how rocket league was mentioned in this because i was just thinking about it. Yesterday I hit champ 2 in rocket league and I was so happy about it, becuase rocket league is one of those games where you actually have to learn it, there isn't any ratty op meta that everyone is using, and this for me makes the game much more fun. Whereas in fifa, everyone is using the same formation, same tactics, same players, same play style, and this just makes the game feel so lifeless and dull

I think ea dont really understand that playstyles and introduction of women are the downfall of the game. Pack weight and the whole SBC grind is so ass because of the amount of rares that they added. Make a separate mode for them because its just unplayable. Playstyles are so ass aswell if they dont remove them the game is gone
EA and Konami are in a race to the bottom. Smart Assist should have destroyed eFootball but somehow EA have achieved a complete stagnation that allows it to continue.
I watched some of my old FIFA 18-22 gameplay… the variety of goals & chance creation was so varied. I miss those days
The worst thing is how good the game was in the first month, the skill gap, when you lost it always felt fair. And to just have that snatched away…imagine if they didn’t do any patches.
Its no football game no more, its just who can the best AI defend and who can make the best Lengthy evos and then send them on a run. I miss the good Fifa’s where 40 games in the weekend leauque was fun to play
never felt beter breaking out of the fc cycle, mind is calm and ive got so much time to spent on whatever that trully brings me excitement
