The actual sigh of relief I let out when I heard "great experience so far". I can't overstate how much I want this to be good. I just bought it, I know to keep in mind nostalgia means it cannot live up to the memories I have of it, but I just wanna have a good time. I'm so excited for people to start modding it. I may not be Eastern European, but I got a hand me down computer in 2007 and less than legitimate copies of civ 3, gothic, and cs 1.6, and those games are still my core gaming memories.
Ever since I finished Drova Forsaken Kin, I've wanted to try Gothic. Think I'll start with this remake

What I really like is everyone looks like normal people, not some stylised human with some weird quirk about them. Much easier to relate
I used to be a normal/medium to hard difficulty player, as I got older I don't have the time nor the capacity for stressful friction games any more.
Im definitely grabbing this. Ive never played the original. But I loved Arcania on the 360. Cannot wait to dive in
I never got to play Gothic as a child but I read about it in PC Gamer. I look forward to diving into this remake.
