Classic case of logic vs emotions, but not in the way some people think. Jim sees that if he signs himself up, his wife can do the thing she wants and of course he wishes for her to be happy and offers the solution. Audrey sees that she cannot go there by herself to sign up and thus feels inferior, not wanting to be belittled because of her gender, wanting female independence. Both are absolutely valid, but neither realizes what the other is actually thinking about. The reason why I point this out is because it's INSANELY common between partners and couples and I hope I can clear it up for at least a few of you.

If a wife weaponizes sex against her husband that’s a huge red flag. It’s a toxic trait that’s shows that her love for you is transactional and not something special or intimate. Its manipulative and destroys communication between partners
