1100 hours in PoE2 here but I'd really like them to expand the in-game tooltips and tutorials before 1.0 so it becomes part of the habit of updates and doesn't become too much of a task later and ignored. This will immensely help newer players get sucked into the game instead of feeling lost. The little things matter too - I helped a few friends out already that had no idea how to socket a jewel into passive tree or didnt even know you could put jewels in there, all the ctrl/shift/alt combinations you can do on things, etc. Not everyone is watching every dev stream, tweet, forum post or spending dozens of hours on youtube to learn. It needs to be in game.
So much to do. Feels more like a marathon than w sprint and I'm enjoying that aspect very much.
One thing you didnt mention that i think would be great QoL. Weapon set 2 is very light green but its not bad to see where that is pathed. But the light pink of weapon set 1, blends in so well with the normal path on the passive tree, it is VERY difficult to see it. Needs more color contrast like the mobalytics has.
Dude I learned how to use the "count" feature in the market and holy crap it changed my life. I wanted a ring with 3 mods, flat phys, and then flat anything else, and I didn't know you could use "count" to say "give me at least 1 of these 3 different mods". Godly
Hey Raxx, I have been playing your plant daddy build since launch and haven't been able to stop playing! It honestly feels like a cheat code and I've had no problems playing though the campaign and end game. Thank you for sharing with us 🙌
12:46 Im level 92 and just learned I was missing the same passive points from campaign lol
Death recap would be a really great addition, especially if you go ssf with your own build. As you said Raxx, smth between 3-5 sec with detailed information about what actual happened to your char (was it a crit ? ; some kind of specif elemental Dmg ? ; did I get hit by a curse beforehand ? and so on).
I had a temporal chain map that also had chilled patches of ground. I just left the map and started a new one
for me Jamanra always went alot easier with some lighting resistence. The difference to me was really big
A currency-only backpack with six currency slots would be great for mapping. Maybe you can only add to the pack in hideout so inventory still is required to hold currency you pick up would help balance this feature.
Something that’s important to me—and I don’t understand why no one else talks about it—is how difficult the maps are to navigate. The terrain is so cluttered with things that interrupt the flow of movement—chairs, tables, trees, bushes, small stairs, ramps... It feels like there’s some kind of obstacle every two steps. I get that it adds to the map’s design and variety, but sometimes it feels like they’re trying to block movement on purpose.
jamanra has made me restart with a new build more than I'd care to admit. And the screen freezing is awful too. Otherwise, have had a lot of fun with unarmed lighting monk and plant druid.
GGG needs to redo the separation of the dodge and sprint as well. It needs to be a button for dodge, a button for sprint, or the default of dodge/sprint on one button.
So I’m not the only one who sees the Vaal temples and just nopes right by them
I need an in game, editable loot filter ASAP.
My biggest gripe right now is, i feel like very single bulids that i "want to try myself", not guided or anything just feels like shit. Some skills, especially as melee, still feel ridiculously clunky to use. Seriously, why whirling assault is this dumbass move that you can't channel as long as you still escapes me and the stupid-ass random blinking one-shot rares are still pain.
I was playing D4 then season 14 notes came out and it pissed me off. Finally tried POE 2 for the first time and loving it. Playing plant daddy and just make it to act 3. Having tons of fun thanks Rax. As far as the act 2 boss. I found a tip to load up on lighting resistance. Maxed mine out and beat him on my second try. Before that I must have died 20 times.
I am a new player to this game, enjoying it very much and just got to act 3. I just wish that, when you cut a skill gem, you were able to see videos on how all skills work, even if you don't have the required level. I like to plan my build ahead and would like to see how the skills I plan to use work.
Price checker: If you use overlay checking, you can also see values of your gems, materials or exchange value for them / current market situation. Would be great if they could at smth like that to the ingame checker as well.
Thanks for this. Yeah, screen jolting driving me crazy too - makes me want to stop playing until it clears up. I don't mind Jamanra but he's a little tedious lol. Totally agree about the wells.
