There’s something so fascinating about how Verity seems to at first try to protect or keep Mob away from the truth only to turn on him and be the monster. I don’t know if there’s context clues I’m missing, but it almost feels like it comes from left field. Aside from that, still a pretty interesting concept and very good voice work from Verity’s actor.

this is actually such a great video ive rewatched it like 3 times today i just cant get over it actually crazy yap game incoming because jm crazy but like theres so many details im so curious about like the relation between Verity and ???Verity? like what seperates them and what makes them the same. Because we can see from the POV of the thing when its outside the house. And theres also a reason Verity told Mob to stay away from the village It makes me curious as to what Veritys role is in here. Is he supposed to lure? Deceive? Get the players trust and strike? Maybe he grew fond of Mob thats why the warnings. Maybe this wasnt supposed to happen at all. Did Mob going to the villege trigger Verity? Trigger his hunger? Is that what his bigger form could represent? And how come the world is peaceful. Did Verity make it that way to protect the player or did he make it that way so nothing else steals his prey? Maybe im digging way too deep into this but it seemed like Verity was ashamed of the hunger. Of the creature? Of himself maybe? The sudden switch from his regular smile to that maybe disappointed or upset look, to the fake smile. To him progressively looking more either tired or insane. or both. The personal question of if Mob lives alone too. It makes me think that c!Mob got caught both jn game and outside of it. Maybe thats also related to the blaring alarm noise Verity let out when he said "I dont know what's happening. Are you okay?" and then Veritys comment about the alarm being "The night" To me it could very much have meant the 'real life' night. And just the fact that Verity has access to real world information is an awesome addition,, gives the situation have more danger than just in game world corruption or death "I know where your base is" seemed more like a desperate commdnt rather than a threat. "Its already over, Mob" relating tk how its been over since pretty much the start. Im also pondering so hard about the music. Its Veritys music, something he likes and something he shares with Mob. But that also coincidentally being the music he plays when hes hunting.(At leatd from what ive gathered) and the title of the song being "My gal" maybe having something to do with Veritys lines of "Youre mine" "Mine" Like a sign of him already having caught his prey //editing this ^ line because i realized im a chud and he yelled "Mob" instead of "Mine" whoops. Still very interesting how he was yelling after him, knowing no matter what the outcome wouldnt have changed. Though I wonder if Mob just. Went somewhere durther away, into a different place instead of the lookout tower. Maybe he woukdve survived longer?? or im being stupid but whateva I also dunno whether im schizo or im cooking but i brightened up most of the dark scenes including the ending black screen (w/o text) and it sometimes looks like you can spot him lurking. theres also like. something that looks like his eyes when you brighten up the black screen. Overall this is such a great vid with great VA'ing, models, animations and story. Most of it being edited like a regular horror mod playthrough adds sooo much to it. During some moments you can forget that this isnt just a horror mod video. It also seems like theres a bigger danger outside of the game, which is sick. Im excited to see the future projects, and maybe a behind the scenes + some notes about the making process of this... maybe..perhaps... (just a suggestion ofc)
That's CRAZY. I do wish it's a mod though. I know it's not and yes I read the description. Just image how long the editing, sound design, and 3D animation would have taken to make that. JUST WOW
